If you are looking to be close to nature during the day, but appreciate some of the creature comforts of home in the evening, then these safaris are for you. Here, you have the best of both worlds: your own private safari vehicle with a professional driver/guide to show you the best of Tanzania's National Parks and at the days end, you settle into one of the beautiful lodges or luxury permanent tented camps where you can enjoy a hot shower and a cold drink at sunset. Many of these lodges have swimming pools, ideal places to relax during the hot midday hours, and offer services such as massage, the perfect way to relax after a long days drive!

Day 0

Arrive Arusha - Stay overnight at Karama Lodge on BB

Day 1

Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Have a picnic lunch in the park, followed by an afternoon game drive. Tarangire National Park, drive through the park's varied landscape, which is scattered with huge baobabs trees and home to herds of elephants. Stay overnight Kikoti Safari Camp.

Day 2

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara for game drive and a picnic lunch in the park, a great opportunity to see its marvelous concentration of game, including 350 species of birds, not to mention the glistening soda lake itself where you'll catch glimpses of grazing pink flamingoes. Stay overnight at Kirurumu Luxury Tented Camp - just outside Lake Manyara National Park. F/B

Day 3

Drive to Serengeti, visiting Olduvai Gorge enroute. The Serengeti is the largest of all the parks in Tanzania, famous for both its migratory and resident animal population. Stay Overnight at Kongoni Mobile Luxury Tented Camp (moving according to the migrations)

Day 4

Full day game driving in the Serengeti, not only will you be treated to a vast array of wildlife in its natural habitat, but sweeping panoramas of the African savannah, dotted with lush rocky outcrops (known as kopjes). Stay overnight at Kongoni Mobile Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 5

Full day in the Serengeti National Park game driving. Stay overnight at Kongoni Mobile Luxury Tented Camp. Luxury Lodge and Camping Safari

Day 6

Morning game drive in the Serengeti, in the afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area around the rim of the Crater to your lodge to behold the spectacular view. Stay overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 7 - Trekking Crater to Olmoti

Drive from the overnight stay to the trekking starting point at Nainokanoka. Take a trek at Olmoti, which takes you through the rain forested slopes of Olmoti Crater to the rim viewpoint. The trek winds down to the grassy plains of the crater floor to Mungwe Falls, named after the distinctive white flourish of the Colobus Monkey tail. Stay overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 8

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a crater tour. This 100 square mile natural amphitheatre is host to an astonishing array of wildlife and you may be lucky enough to see rhino, elephant and lion, as well as large herds of zebra and wildebeest. A picnic lunch will be taken in the Crater. Stay overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Day 9 - Visit at the Land of Bush Man (Adzabe)

After a leisure breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi to the yaida valley, a place barely visited by tourists, and very few animals - it's the land of the Hadzabe Bushmen. After a late picnic lunch, you'll search for a Hadzabe camp to see how they are living; they're one of Africa's few remaining hunters and gather whose only weapon is the bow and arrow. Dinner and overnight at Kisimangenda Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 10

After a leisurely, drive back to Arusha via the craft markets of Mto Wa Mbu. Stay overnight at Karama Lodge on BB.
