Hi Annette

We are now wondering if the last few weeks was all a dream!!  We had the most fantastic
holiday and would like to thank you for all the hard work you did for us.  We were so
impressed with your organisation, and  the standard of accommodation way exceeded our
expectations!  Steven was a superb driver/guide - his breadth of knowledge was fantastic,
his ability to spot animals most impressive, but above all he was just excellent company
and seem to quickly get the measure of our boys!  We felt very priveleged to have Ole as
our guide - the insight he gave us into Masai life was very special and something that we
will all remember. He was always cheerful  - even at 6 o'clock in the morning!  Juma's
cooking was almost as good as his knowledge of English football!  We were particularly
grateful for his cups of tea and bowls of popcorn that were waiting for us at the end of
a long day's walking - a real treat!

Zanzibar was another fabulous experience but we missed Steven's constant source of
knowledge!  Both Tembo and Ras Nungwi were wonderful places to stay, the latter being
very close to paradise!  We hadn't realised quite how pampered we would be there!

We had a few  minor hassles with organisation - one of our bags did not arrive on the
plane from KJO, although it turned up later.  There was no taxi from the airport to
Chavda Hotel, and no taxi from Dar Es Salaam port to the airport.   Because the ferry
crossing took 2 hours rather than 1 and a half, and left at 10 am rather than 9.30, we
didn't dock until 12, so it is quite possible that the taxi you had booked for us at 11 
had given up waiting.  None of this mattered too much to us,  and it was easy to find
alternatives, however we felt you would like to know.

We were delighted with our itinerary and were grateful to Steven for the minor changes
which he made for us.  We would certainly recommend Tropical Trails to anyone planning a
trip to Tanzania.
