Hi Annette,

As promised I am writing to confirm that we had a fantastic safari and that anyone
considering booking a safari with Tropical Trails should do so with confidence.

I will briefly outline what contributed to a memorable experience. Firstly, we received
prompt and informative responses to our questions. We were able to see the type of
accommodation that we would be staying in through web-site links which was useful.

Our driver, Francis was excellent. He was friendly, had amazing eye sight and was able
to spot animals that we would certainly have missed. He was also very knowledgeable
about the names of different animals and knew the behavioural patterns of them which
resulted in us seeing lions and a leopard walk past our van. The jeep was well equipped
and handled the roads well. It was comfortable with an opening roof allowing for perfect
views of the terrain and animals. The four parks that we visited were geographically
varied with different concentrations of animals, so seven days allowed for a complete
experience.

The accommodation was first class and made you feel you were in Africa rather than
staying in a four star hotel on a package holiday, with the exception of the Sopa Lodge.
Don't get me wrong,it was large, clean and perfectly comfortable, just rather busy and
lacked the intimate feel of the other lodges. The location for an early visit to the
Ngoragora crater was excellent however. The other lodges were rustic but still luxurious
and the Mbalageti was arguably the most beautifully located hotel we have ever stayed in
anywhere in the world. The relatively small scale meant you received excellent service
and had no problems finding a seat to sit next to the pools after a long and dusty day
out on safari.

Once again, many thanks

Best wishes
Sam and Jackie
